The Academy Division is NWAL’s bridge for rec players who are looking to move into competitive soccer. There is an Academy team for each age group of U8’s, U9’s and U10’s, both boys and girls. Each team conducts weekly training and practices. The teams compete in the Thunder league for weekly games and also play in competitive tournaments at least twice per year. These tournaments may involve overnight travel and will give players at this age their first exposure to a higher level of competition.
